Champion's Choice, Racing Excellence Fabio Quartararo.
Born on April 20, 1999, Fabio Alain Quartararo, often known by his nickname El Diablo, is a French Grand Prix motorcycle racer who competes with Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP. Fabio Quartararo is the first French World Champion in the history of the premier class after winning the 2021 MotoGP World Championship.
Fabio Quartararo won six Spanish junior championship championships before becoming a pro in the Grand Prix arena, including back-to-back CEV Moto3 crowns in 2013 and 2014. Owing to his early accomplishments, he was predicted to do "big things" and was even likened to the multiple world champion Marc Márquez. He also broke several age records on his way up to the World Championship level. Despite not living up to the lofty expectations set for him in the Moto3 and Moto2 World Championships, he advanced to the MotoGP class with Petronas Yamaha SRT, where he finished fifth in the overall standings and claimed seven podiums in 2019. Fabio Quartararo moved up to the Yamaha Factory Racing Team for 2021, replacing Valentino Rossi, after earning three victories in the shortened 2020 season. In his debut season, he managed to win the title with five victories and ten podiums.
