Speed Demon or Racing Maestro? Leon Haslam is Both

Leon Lloyd Haslam (born 31 May 1983, in the London Borough of Ealing) is a motorcycle road racer based in Derbyshire, England.

In February 2022, Leon Haslam confirmed he would be racing in British Superbikes for Lee Hardy Racing on a Kawasaki ZX-10RR, while the actual sponsor name of the team—VisionTrack—determined later. He competed in a wild card ride at Assen World Superbikes in April 2022, substituting for Pedercini Racing. After the 2019 World Superbike season with the factory Kawasaki team, for 2020 and 2021 he was contracted to ride the then-new Honda CBR1000RR-R in the World Superbike Championship with the team being run for the first time under full HRC control.

Between the 2016 and 2018 seasons, Leon Haslam was contracted to race in the British Superbike Championship on a Kawasaki ZX-10R. He won the 2018 British championship at the final event held at Brands Hatch in late October, having previously signed to join the Kawasaki Superbike factory team in the World Championship in 2019 as a team-mate to Jonathan Rea. Leon Haslam began racing at an early age and by the time he was in his late teens, he had raced in most of the significant British and international championships. In 2009 he returned to the Superbike World Championship riding for Suzuki, BMW, Honda, and Aprilia until he parted ways with them in 2011.

I bought this two piece set for track days and spirited riding. When it arrived I was pleasently supprised buy the quallity to price ratio. It really looks alot better in person than in the photo. I thik I ordered a size too small, but now that I have some miles on it, it seems to be breaking in pretty well. The entire experience with Leathercollection went very smooth. I placed my order, item was sent out next day. I then received it 3 days later! I was very impressed by this being that I have an APO adress and have been waiting for goods from Motorcycle superstore for well over a month!

Its a really great Motorcycle leather jacket. It fits very good soft and comfot but my friends said, you should order two sizes bigger than you normally wear. I usually wear XL first brought a XXL had to exchange for 4XLarge. This size fits great at my body finally. I have not worn this leather jacket too much, but wear when the weather gets a little cooler. Nice jacket thanks leathercollection.us

I used this suit when I went to CA Superbike and ended up picking up one second hand from a local track day organizer. Airflow is good the front half of the suit has decent perforation which helps in humid climates. My only beef with the suit is that the race hump seems to have minimal structure so it lost its shape fairly quickly, now I look like Quasimodo. If you're looking at getting into track riding it's a solid suit to get your feet wet at a great price point.
